Head on Collision

written on March 29th 2008

She’s been going through her years without assistance.
Didn’t ask for the help of any guidance.
Still she feels there’s a void that can’t be filled,
This is story of a life soon to be killed.

It was tragedy after tragedy that destroyed her spirit.
No one knew the real reason to why.

Cradling herself in the darkness of her room,
She got up to explore and search for her void.

There is no location to where she is,
traveling in the dark hours of night
only to see what can be done right.

The constant feel of fault shadowed her every move.
No wonder why she felt so lost, she was lost.
In the middle of night, hearing traffic zip by.

She stood still, and looked back,
There were two lights shining her way to her.
Looking forward, there were another two lights.

Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes shut,
Opened her mouth, whispering “Thank you, God.”

Was this the void she sought for?
A quick kill to her pain still left her lover’s soul breathing.
